Using Audacity

 This is a tutorial that demonstrates how to create and edit audio files for MP3 format for Podcasts. (You need Real Player version 10+)

Connect to download Audacity file (win1.2)http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

You can export to a MP3 file, but you need to add the LAME MP3 encoder

Microphone not working?
Make sure the window says 'Microphone' not 'Line in'. Line in would be used if you where bringing sound from a recorder. see below
