[Be sure you have version 4.0 or above] 1. Click on the Views window to create a new Concept Map.

2. Double click anywhere on the Concept Map to add a new Concept |
|
|
3. Double click on the Concept to edit the text |
|
|
4. Double click on an empty spot to create another concept |
|
|
5. Click on the arrow box above the Concept and drag it to another concept to create an arrow |

6. Click on the box created after making a connection to rename it |
|
|
7. Click on the line segment to select it |
|
|
8. Open a styles box to change the style of the line segment
(Note: Click on each tab in the tutorial to find out about it) |

9. You can export a Concept Map both as an webpage or as an
image. You also have the choice to turn the CMap into text with each
concept being a new paragraph. (Like an outline) (Click on the tab to find the result) |
