CERAMICS CLINIC

This workshop focuses on clay experiences and gallery visits in Shanghai.
Students will spend Friday, from 8:30 – 3:15 in the city of Shanghai. During the morning they will visit the contemporary galleries at Morganshan Lu. In the afternoon, they will visit the Ling Studio. At the studio, students will work with Chen Ling and create porcelain figurative and jewelry pieces. Everyone will return to CISS in time for Arts Unlimited #1. Students will spend Saturday, from 8-30-10:50, designing and painting a small porcelain plate. From 1:00 – 3:30 students will prepare their documentation photographs. All of the student Clayworks pieces will be fired and shipped to schools at a later date. Students' experiences during the clinic will be documented and displayed at the Clinics' Exhibition.
