Chen Liang, Clinician

Chen Lian was born in Shanghai and grew up in an artistic environment with his father as one of the top Chinese ink painters. He received his M.A. in Chinese Painting at the College of Fine Arts, Shanghai University. After many years of study Mr. Lian learned the traditional art of ceramics. His father established a ceramic studio, Ling Kiln, in 2003 where Mr. Lian is established as the top ceramic artist and studio manager. His beautifully made work – a combination of classic and modern, tradition and reformation, and art and craft - is very original and unique. Mr. Lian also teaches porcelain at the College of Fine Arts in Shanghai.
