FIGURE DRAWING CLINIC
This workshop concentrates on the study of the figure within a variety of drawing styles and mixed media. Working from a model, students will develop their observational and drawing skills while also exploring new ideas and approaches to art. Working within a concentrated time frame – lead by 'Sasha' Mischan and assisted by CISS art teacher, Kate Graham – students will focus on quality, experimentation, and personal expression. Many drawings will be large scale.
On Friday, from 8:30-3:15, and on Saturday, from 8:30-10:50 and 1:00-3:3:30, students will work in the studio.
On Saturday, from 1:00-3:30, students will prepare work for exhibition.
Every student will select at least two images for the Clinic Exhibition.
