Arts Unlimited Workshops

Students will sign up for the Arts Unlimited workshops at registration upon arriving at CISS. Placement in a workshop will be based on a first come, first served basis.  Several workshops are limited to a specific number of students.
The Arts Unlimited workshops that are presently listed are subject to change.

Actor's Meditation
Actor's Meditation: Need to relax?  Come on by for an hour's hiatus and
partake first hand of how actor's control their mind and body.

Art Portfolio Critiques with Savanna College of Art and Columbus College of Art and Design
College representatives will be on hand to discuss student portfolios and what it means to go to an art school of higher education.

Christo Wrapping
Consider the Gates of Central Park,  the Surrounded Islands of Florida, the Running Fence of California.......come make your own wrapped sculpture.

Garage Band (Apple computer)
Rock on! Create and produce your own music or podcast by using garageband software on one of our CISS Apple computers!

Graffiti Wall Painting
Want to experience artist freedom?  Like Keith Harring or Jean-Michel Basquiat?  Come have fun at The Wall

Group Voice Lessons
Have you always wanted to be the lead the school musical? Or have you wanted to audition for that big solo in choir? Try group voice lessons! Tra-la-la!

Jazz de Funk – Class 1
Shanghai's hippest dance studio will send a teacher to lead a one hour dance class - style to be determined before conference sign-ups.

Actor's Toolbox
A class geared toward exploring the essential components of acting successfully.

Recyclable Sculpture
Associate yourself with Robert Raushenberg, Richard Chamberline,and the infamous Marcel Duchamp and make beauty out of found objects and 'trash'.

Handbells
Come and join the choir, the HANDBELL choir, that is! Try your skills at ringing handbells in a 3 octave handbell ensemble. To get the most out of this experience, it's best if you can read music.
