STRINGS CLINIC Our strings workshop will be led by composer, Soon Hee Newbold.
This 50-60 member string ensemble will be playing repertoire of varying levels (Grade 3-4 literature). The repertoire is being chosen by our clinician, Soon Hee Newbold. Selected pieces will showcase the composer’s works. They are as follows:
| The Odyssey | Soon Hee Newbold |
| American Langscape | Soon Hee Newbold |
| Blue Fire Fiddler | Soon Hee Newbold |
| Hero’s Journey | Soon Hee Newbold |
Additional classical selections will also be included. We will post them here once they are finalized.
The instrumentation will be as follows:
Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, Cello, String Bass
Registration Limits
We will fill instrumentation on a first come first served basis. Once a particular area is filled, we will have to decline any further enrollment in that area. We are sorry for the disappointment this may bring, but in order to have a balanced ensemble we have no other choice but to manage registration in this manner. We suggest registering as early as possible. We will confirm the status of your registration with you via email within 5 days of your registration.
Music will be FAXed to each school after registration closes on January 31.
